Review :: Deep Steep Peppermint Foot Cream and Zumbo Bath Salt Balls

I've known about Deep Steep for awhile now but have never tried any of their products.  When they were on sale at Pure Citizen a few weeks ago I scooped some up to try them out.  I couldn't resist the Peppermint Foot Cream ($9.95), what with it's holiday packaging and candy scent.  I use this not just on my feet but on my hands because it works so well and provides a nice protective layer while reminding me of a peppermint patty.  The ingredients are great too.  This tube has taken up permanent residence on my nightstand because I use it on my hands and feet before bed and wake up with silky smooth skin.  Great product!

Deep Steep Peppermint trio
Ingredients: Organic Aloe Barbadensis (Aloe Vera) Leaf Juice, Infusion of Organic Herbs; Mentha Piperita (Peppermint) Leaf Extract, Melaleuca Alternifolia (Tea Tree) Leaf Extract, Eucalyptus Globulus (Eucalyptus) Leaf Extract, Mentha Viridis (Spearmint) Leaf Extract, Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf Extract, Organic Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Glyceryl Stearate (Vegan), Glycerin (Vegan), Caprylic Acid (Coconut Fatty Acid), Organic Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil, Aroma (Organic and Wildcrafted Aroma Blend), Manihot Esculenta (Tapioca) Starch, Organic Theobroma Cacao (Cocoa) Seed Butter, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter, Mangifera Indica (Mango) Seed Butter, Persea Gratissima (Avocado) Butter, Tocopherol (Vitamin E) Natural, Cyamopsis Tetragonoloba (Guar) Gum, Xanthan Gum, Potassium Sorbate.

I have a soft spot for Indigo Wild who has recently introduced their new Zumbo Peppermint Salt Balls ($13).  I really can't think of another company like them.  They're fun, irreverent and they make fantastic-smelling products in cool packaging without any junk ingredients.  What's not to love, really?  And their stuff makes really great gifts.  I was sent these salt balls a few weeks back and when they are not near my bathtub they are on my desk so I can get a big whiff of their potent aroma when I need a pick-me-up or when I'm stressing out.  Taking a long, slow, deep breathe of peppermint is entirely relaxing.  I don't take baths much, but I have been lately because I've been a little too wound up at the end of the day.  Yesterday was one of those days and last night called for a glass or two of organic cab sauv (review coming soon) and a long, hot bath with these salt balls to melt stress away.  As you can see from the first photo, I've been partaking quite a bit in these balls.

Ingredients: Bath salt pearls and pure essential oils.

This stress relieving combo would be a great gift for just about anyone or a really nice thing to do for yourself during what can often be a hectic season.  And they would both fit perfectly into a stocking, fyi

Disclosure: I purchased the Deep Steep foot cream from my favorite deal site, Pure Citizen and Indigo Wild asked to send me their new bath balls and I graciously accepted.
