Badger Receives USDA Organic Certification

I have a weakness for balms. Lip balm, body balm, healing balm, foot name it. If it's a balm and it's organic I'm all over it (well actually it's all over me, but you get the point). Badger makes an impressive 18 different balms for practically every imaginable scenerio including Stress Balm, Bali Balm (after sun care), Anti-Bug Balm, Healing Balm, Headache Balm & Yoga & Meditation Balm. If you're a baby Mama, you may want to check out their Baby Balm (use as diaper cream), Night Night Balm & Baby Oil. If you're an expecting Mama their Evolving Balm is supposed to be great for a stretching and itchy belly.

Badger is one of those feel good companies, one that is all about comforting & healing & doing what's right. Their goods have been featured in VOGUE, Esquire & Vegetarian Times and while you may have spotted their adorable tins or tubes in your local store, if not you can check them out here. We're happy to announce that effective August 1st, almost all products will bear the USDA Organic Certification seal. This means that all their oils, butters, waxes and essential oils will be grown without the use of chemical fertilizers or toxic pesticides. Not only that but no chemicals or synthetics are used in the production process or in the final product. Many ingredients are fair trade and of course never tested on animals (except their employees who call themselves "Badgers").

The company's commitment to pure products has not changed since it's inception a decade ago, but by acquiring third-party verification they are proving their level of purity and commitment to the environment.
