AVEDA Creator Unveils USDA Certified Organic Line

Organic farmer, active environmentalist, son of a herbalist and creator of AVEDA, Horst Rechelbacher, unveiled a high-end line of sleekly packaged USDA Certified Organic Hair Care and Organic perfume to the press in NYC this afternoon. After selling AVEDA to Estee Lauder in 2005, Rechelbacher founded Intelligent Nutrients supplying just high quality organic nutritional supplements...until now. Thirteen scalp and hair care products, along with seven organic perfumes will be available to the public at the end of summer. And he’s not stopping there. The Fall ’08 lineup includes Certified Organic skin care, body care, baby/maternal care and pet care. And guess what won't be lurking in any of them? No parabens, phthalates, sulfates, dioxanes, silicone, lead, heavy metal & toxic petrochemicals! His mantra, “everything we put in and on our bodies should be safe and nutritious” is right on target. We're eager to try out them out and you're sure to hear more about this line from us as we learn more! Stay tuned…

P.S. What do you think about this launch? Do you believe it will give organic skin care more of a presence in the high-end market??? We'd love to hear from you :)
